beans means......
I started making the mixed bean soup on Thursday soaking the beans over night. I then cooked them for several hours yesterday still not soft and this evening Saturday we ate the soup. Delicious but boy we're not looking forward to the expected fallout! College is on hols so not mush going on must update my Plone page but not much to put on it. I'm slowly recovering from the surgery (anterior cervical discectomy to those who don't know. He did 2 discs! I'm off for my daily walk with mad child. It seems walking is great for spines so here I go.
New Year old problems
I clearly had the intention of using this blog as my journal. What happened,nothing! I know now that the writing in an A4 pad is my favourite methods for thinking and not taking. I'm certainly more to express myself visually.
The point is still valid I must get into a more regular journal type record. I've now had my double anterior cervical disc thingy two weeks ago. I'm still off work and I think I'll remain so for a while. I'm now starting to feel I'm wasting valuable study time. I have this opportunity to spend the time. the problem is that the course is not available as we're in recess. So much for personalised learning and fitting around the home work balance. What will happen is we again have 2 overlapping models. everyone will become stressed. The last is an independent learning module and I'm staring to think about what I want to study. So much but nothing specific and it needs to feed into next year so it has to be interesting enough for me to want to do it for a year.
